Overview
A cross-cutting reference dive into the amateur DMR ecosystem — BrandMeister, TGIF, and W0CHP/WPSD networks, talkgroups, reflectors, routing, codeplug design, hotspot-vs-repeater tradeoffs, and on-air etiquette. This is the radio-scoped slice of the series' shared DMR-network material (it is radio-only — scanners do not transmit DMR). Scoped to the Radios project as part of the Scanners/Radios restructure Stage 2 Phase 3 (2026-06-16); the scanner-scoped counterpart lives in the Scanners project.
Context
DMR network mechanics are referenced by every DMR-capable device in the lineup — the AnyTone D878UVII HT and both hotspots (SkyBridge Plus, DIY WPSD). This dive holds the network half of that picture.
